Nikhil Narayan Ramkarran obtained a law degree from the University of the West Indies in 1998 and graduated from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad in September 2000. He joined the firm as an associate counsel upon his admission to the bar in November 2000 and since then has adopted the firm’s specialization in general civil and commercial litigation as his own. Mr. Ramkarran became a partner in 2005 and has assisted in the modernisation of the firm, moving us from typewriters to word processors to a fully networked computer system. He is currently engaged in establishing a computerised file and client management system. Mr. Ramkarran is the chairperson of the board of the Guyana Stock Exchange and honorary legal counsel to the Guyana Red Cross Society.
